“What’s your name? You need a different one because this doesn’t match.” These were the words of my teacher that marked the beginning of my identity crisis. Growing up far from my ethnic roots, my name and appearance always seemed out of place. But when I finally visited my homeland, I realized I didn’t fully fit there either. For years, I tried to mold myself to match both worlds—but nothing felt right.
I eventually stopped trying to fit in and chose to stand out. Makeup became more than just beauty to me—it was a way to celebrate my unique blend of identities. It taught me that real beauty is about embracing who you are, exactly as you are.
Instead of seeing my uniqueness as something to overcome, I chose to embrace it—and in doing so, I found my confidence. Today, I take pride in every part of who I am, and my passion is to inspire others to do the same

This journey of self-acceptance ignited a deeper passion within me; the desire to help others embrace their own transformation. I’ve learned that personal growth often begins with how we see ourselves. When we take pride in our appearance and use beauty as a form of self-improvement, we cultivate confidence from the inside out. And when confidence grows, it creates space for joy, self-discovery, and personal development.
Meerah Belle is a community that champions self-improvement and empowerment. Our initiative, Beyond Labelle, was created to foster a sense of belonging and provide the tools needed for individuals to elevate all aspects of their lives. Through multifunctional beauty products and mindset-transforming resources, we offer more than just makeup—we provide solutions that empower people to express their identity in every way.

For me, makeup became more than just a way to enhance features. It was a means of self-improvement , a way to celebrate the blending of cultures within me. As I honed my skills as a makeup artist and shared them with others, I witnessed the incredible impact it had, not just on their appearance, but on their confidence and self-worth. Seeing people recognize their own beauty and strength was a powerful realization: transformation is about so much more than aesthetics.
That’s why my mission extends beyond beauty itself. I want to provide education, resources, and guidance that support people in their personal growth not just on the surface, but on a deeper, more meaningful level.
